Not sure what to say?

Dear Family-
I was Matt's teacher at Villa Maria college when he was there - he was in two of my studio classes. I just found out he passed away. I am so saddened. I have to say he was one of my favorite and most memorable students of my many years of teaching. So talented, thoughtful, funny, a lovely young man. I send you my dearest thoughts and wishes and will have the fondest memories of him.

Hi Lori -- again, if there is ANYTHING we can do, please let us know. Even though we only knew Matthew thru the Sabres' games, I feel like we've lost someone so special, too.

I went to high school with Matt at Niagara Catholic, he dated my friend Liz Longin and I got to know him through her. He was so artistically talented and I remember watching him in the art class we shared for inspiration. He was so unbelievably kind. He always watched out for Liz and all of us..and I know he will continue to look after his undoubtedly wonderful family. My prayers are with you <3

Dear Marin Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences. Matt left a beautiful legacy in his loving family and friends. We will continue to remember you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Gail, Gregg & Lori, and all loving relatives and friends~
I'm so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. While I haven't seen Matthew since he was a young boy, it's clear that he grew to be a fine young man--talented, funny, and well-loved. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers hoping that loving memories may help to ease the pain of this cruel loss. May God bless you all.
With deepest sympathy,
Jacqui McCoy

I am so sorry to hear about your lose. Matt was wonderful classmate, full of personality and fun. I remember he as a very creative designer...

Dear Marin Family,

I am very sorry for your loss. I sat next to Matt in our Senior Design Class. He was always so witty and fun. He will be missed.

Dear Marin Family,
Although I never had pleasure of working with Matthew in my classes, I fondly remember seeing Matt with his friends on the third floor of the Rockefeller Arts Building. We are a close-knit community of students, faculty and staff who cherish the time we had with Matt and are thankful for the privilege of having him in our company for a few years. I will pray for your family in hopes that you can find some peace amongst your sadness.

Dear Marin family,
I am so sorry to hear of Matt's death, and I will send a notice to Fredonia graphic design alumni so that more of his classmates can be informed. He is remembered fondly by many of us.

Matt was a fun student to work with; always taking a unique approach to his work and never afraid to push the boundaries and try something new. I enjoyed having him in my classes and it is a shame to lose someone so creative at such a young age.

My thoughts are with your...
