Not sure what to say?

Matthew,
my first true love at age 16(17 years ago) and it seems like it was only yesterday. Not only my first true love but the best friend I can honestly say I ever had........God please surround Matt's family and friends with peace, love and comfort. We know your strong hand is comforting him now.

Mattee,

Words can't begin to express the profound impact you have made on my life (and everyone around you) both professionally and personally. Your passion/energy for life was contagious. Your sense of leadership was exemplary of all the key competencies every executive encompasses. There are so many great memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. I feel very fortunate that I had the privilege to listen to your vision, and I promise to safe guard your ideas and keep...

Words cannot express the sympathy I feel for Matt's family and closest friends/brothers. I know that I have very fond memories of him. His wit, charm and love for life was unforgettably unique. You will truly be missed.
~God bless you and your family, Matt.

I have known Matthew since I was 10 years old. He was a big part of my life growing up. He was my best friend through all our years of school and beyond. We share so many memories. I remember his tooth getting knocked out, his vans, izod shirts, summers he worked chopping cotton and life-guarding at the pool, his camero, blue toyota truck, his shaved head for t.h.s. football, girls dance king, he dressed up as the motley crue band and sang, the passing of his dad, hanging out at the E.A. pool,...

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Matt and I were best friends many years ago. Junior high and our freshman year of high school are some of my favorite memories because of everything that Matt and I experienced. I moved away many years ago but have never forgotten the times we shared and the love Matt had for his father, mother and sisters.

Matt was a true leader and a person I genuinely admired. I feel privileged to say Matt was someone I knew and respected. He will always be missed.

Matt, your life has meant a lot to many individuals. The way you touch out to the souls of people is truly a gift. We all can be thankful for that gift you shared. Our "brother" friendship growing up together created times of laughter, success, competition, and memories that are everlasting. Thanks for being a part of my life.

Stacey, my entire family sends our deepest sympathy for the loss of such a terrific individual. We pray for you, your family and Matt's family to have...

I, too, have been blessed with the opportunity and privilege to know and work with Matt Maurer. As I think back to all the special and wonderful friends I've made in my life, Matt is clearly on that list. He was a great friend, mentor, co-worker, listener and would kindly give you the shirt off his back if needed. The Matt I knew was a big guy with and equally big heart. He has an abundant love for his wife, his daughter, his family and his friends. He never made you feel "2nd". When you were...

Stacey, Tatum, Joe and Family,
