I ran into Matt just last fall (October I believe) at the University of Pennsylvania. I hadn’t seen Matt in about 10 years. He is someone I liked in my childhood, teenage years, and also someone who I had brief encounters with during my early adulthood (post-college) life. I was a demo'er for Matt at Blackboard: The Early Years. He was always great fun travelling, but what I remember the most was his excitement and thrill to be headed home to his family. Always took priority over anything else. Bless you all.

I helped mentor Matt with the triathlon and was there on race weekend to volunteer. I worked closely with Matt at Blackboard and remember how focused, strategic and accomplished he was. He was also a ton of fun to be with and seemed to be wiser than his years. I watched him take to the sport of triathlon and he came down to DC to race in my events.
