I am very proud to have played football with Matt on our conference championship team in 1977 at Newman high school. Matt led us to that championship and two post season games as a junior. His leadership and athletic skills were the reasons for our success. The entire 1977 team joins in the celebration of life for this great teammate, father and grandfather. God Bless you Matt and thank you for being such a good friend.

I went to Monmouth College with Matt and was on the fighting Scotts football team. I recently saw Matt at Monmouth homecoming. I posted a picture of him in his red jacket from college day.
