Not sure what to say?

This just broke my heart. This man was such an important piece of my high school journey, both academically and personally. He saw through fake smiles and saw how bad I was hurting. He taught me my first coping skills, he taught me how to find peace despite the pain, and he also taught me to stand up for myself. I met him as a shattered 14 year old and he helped give me the skills to become a thriving adult by the time I left his classroom. I took his classes all four years. He was the...

To my mentor and most importantly my friend, I write to you with this: The land we´ve walked and once spoken, is sacred and forever holding. In time, perhaps another one, I´ll see you there with a book open, with the pages we´ve read. So then I´ll know there is more to be said. Goodbye old friend, I´ll see you in the stars. I know you´ve found the secret in which you were always destined to find. I love you dearly, truly and forever.

I met Kent at Emerson College. I remember with warm feelings his smile and gentleness. I remember how seriously he studied. We had long and deep conversations about the subjects we were being taught based on anthroposophy. Now that he is on the other side of the threshold, I will keep him in my thoughts and in my heart. I was present at his first marriage with Bettina. I don't know Laura but I thank her to have been at his side for his last years on earth.

In memory of my twelve years of marriage to Kent and the years we shared at Emerson College, the Goetheanum in Switzerland and the Alanus University in Bonn, Germany and when we both taught at the Waldorf school in Vancouver Canada and afterwards living together in Mobile Alabama. My heartfelt condolences to Kent´s family.

Laura, my condolences to you and your entire family. I know it's very hard to lose a loved one. I can only imagine losing your beloved husband. Our prayers are with you and the family. May God be with you and get you through these grieving days. I wish I could tell you that in time you will heal but that is impossible. However, you have beautiful memories that both of you made and places you went that will never be erased but cherish forever. Be strong and blessed my friend.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.our prayers are with you guys.
