MONGER, Matthew Ellison, 18, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 18. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Helms; stepfather, Rodney D. Helms; sisters, Stephanie and Heather Monger; grandparents, Paul and Cena Marie Helms; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Stephen M. Monger; grandparents, Claude and Shirley Robinette and Shirley and Ressie Monger. Matthew had a great capacity for love, and will be missed by all that knew him. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte 10). His funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be private. The family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia Central Virginia Chapter, P.O. Box 980324, Richmond, Virginia. 23298.
