No Work, No Pork! No Pie, Good Bye!

My sincere condolences to Margaret and all the family. I have very fond recollections of Uncle Matt on the Moroz Family Farm in Insinger, SK., and at the acreage in Edmonton. Just recently, we spoke about his love for the land and his many childhood memories. He was very proud of his Ukrainian pioneer heritage. My prayers are with you at this very sad time.

While living in Winnipeg, Uncle Matt, helped my late Dad, John Kisiow, build our house for our family in nearby Tyndall. I enjoyed our conversations about gardending, mushroom picking and his singing career when our visits to Insinger coincided. My condolences to Margaret, his daughters and their families together with his brothers and sisters.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Matthews passing. I got a sense of what a wonderfully, sweet man he was in the short time I knew him. Accept my condolences and on behalf of 5 East.

Uncle Matt was such a great guy. I remember him living with us when he first moved to Winnipeg, as well as his time as "King of the Saddle' on radio. He went on to become well known on the Gaby Haas Barn Dance show. He was always warm-hearted and true to his Prairie roots. And, always happy to have fresh mushrooms for Pidpenki.

I've never met a more dedicated and sincere individual than Matt Moroz; someone to admire and learn from. Generous to a fault and always eager to help me push forward towards a more positive outcome. I'll keep a happy thought of you in my heart Matt.
