Not sure what to say?

Words cannot express my sympathies to Matt's family, especially his beautiful children. Their wonderful Mom, aunts and uncles will help keep their Dad's memory alive with all the great stories about Matt. My children always loved him and his wonderful sense of humor. We will keep the Murphy family in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks to all of you who visit this site. Matt was a wonderful brother, father and friend. We will miss him dearly. We are so comforted by those who came to show their respects and by those who share their thoughts here. God bless you all.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Murphy family, especially my dear childhood friend, Eileen. My memories of a particular family vacation in New Hampshire, with your Dad and Mom, Matty, Eileen and Patti. Matty so graciously put up with us goofy girls, there was always laughter and good times when in the company of the Murphy's. These and many other memories will be with me always, as you will always have a special place in my heart.

Very saddened by this news. Matt was a great person, and always great to talk to. My sympathy to the Murphy family.

The Grifo Family was so saddened to hear the terrible news. Our hearts are with the Murphy family. I have comfort in the vision that Matt has joined Billy and they can have some much missed fun together again and hope that you can share in that comfort.

My deepest condolences to the Murphy family through this difficult time. You are in my prayers.

Mr. Murphy was always like a second father to me. His smile was so welcoming and full of comfort that it made any bad situation feel like it was going to be alright. I am forever thankful that I got to meet such a unique spirit. He will live forever in my heart.

To the Murphy Family, I love you all like my own family. Each of you have been there for me through my rough times and I promise that I am here for you always.

A great guy and teammate. I'll always remember his sense of humor as well as those punishing tackles from his linebacker position during our high school days.

One of our original "regulars" we saw you every day for cigs, milk we'll miss you ,girls from the gas station. Maureen&Linda
