Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to hear of Matt's passing. He will live on in our hearts and memories. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to his family.

To the O'Brien Family: I was so sadened to hear of the passing of Matt. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many happy memories of Matt form Jr. High on...what a nice, warm, fun, and genuine person. I am happy to have known him. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Ned, Marianne and all Matt's siblings, The McGlynn's send their prayers and hugs your way. We are heartbroken for Matt's children and know no parent should experience this in a perfect world. We are hugging you all from the midwest and will keep all of Matt's family in our prayers.

My heart was so very heavy when I learned of this, and my heartfelt sympathies and healing thoughts go out to Matt's family. Like many others, I have fond memories of going to school with Matt--he was one of the most accessible and down-to-earth people I've encountered.

My deepest sympathies to Matt's family and friends. I have alot of great memories of Matt and our many adventures at numerous Jimmy Buffett concerts, not to mention all the great times we shared in high school. Those early days wouldn't have been the same without Matt and I am deeply saddened that he is no longer with us.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Matt was a very special person to the Sigma Pi family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Know that he will be remembered and not forgetten by any of us that knew him during those crazy times at UNC. He will always occupy a special place in my heart.

O'Brien family and Matt's many friends: my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I am so saddened by Matt's early departure. I knew Matt from High School and you couldn't help but like him.

Love you all and are sending you lots of prayers. Our love runs deep even though our hearts are broken.
