Thinking of you today on Memorial Day 2015 Matt. I am so glad that I had the honor of meeting you when I was much younger. My dad, Richard Adams speaks very highly and fondly of you. He has a picture of you in their living room that was taken in Afghanistan. I have been in the Navy for the past 6 years. I am honored to remember you, my brother in arms, today and every other day. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Dear Pete: After reading an article about Matt and his mission (was it New York Times, just a few days ago?) the article mentioned he was about to enter law school and the location, California, made me immediately think of you, my classmate, graduating class Southwestern 1976.

Deepest condolences to you and your wife and sons. I appreciate his service to our nation, and yours.
