Not sure what to say?

Shawntel--I love you and am keeping you and Matt's/your family in my prayers.

Dear Parker Family - There are no words for your loss: Matt was truly the kindest, brightest, most dedicated person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Shawntel, I was shocked to learn of Matt's passing. Please let me know if I can do anything for you. May God strengthen and support you in your time of need.

Matt was an outstanding colleague. I will miss him. So sorry for your loss.

To the Family of Matthew Parker: It was a pleasure working with and knowing Matt. We passed each other almost everyday at work as I was walking to my office. Please remember the joyous times of celebration and cheer and he will always be in your thoughts and hearts. My prayer is that the Lord will give you peace and comfort.

He will be missed by many. He was a strong advocate for helping others who wanted to become meteorologists. And he was very active in the AMS throughout his career. I can relate to the weather gene. Warmest wishes to his wife and whole family for peace and prayers.

I was so shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Matt's passing. He was one of my favorite college buddies at NCSU in the 80's. He is one of the most ethical friends I have known and just an all around good guy. Shawntel - I will be praying for you and the rest of Matt's family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Matt will be deeply missed by so many. My thoughts and prayer are with family during this time of loss.

Shawntel, I am so sorry for your loss. Matt was a close friend and an inspiration to all of us that knew and worked with him in the Meteorological community.
