Dr. Parrish was an esteemed colleague and mentor. His many anecdotes about his service in the military were both enlightening and often amusing. We are so sorry to hear of Matt's demise. He was a lovely, intelligent, articulate gentleman who was so honest in his dealings and feelings for others. We always enjoyed seeing him and he would discuss literary subjects with Karen and medical and all sorts of other subjects with me. He will be greatly missed. He had so many wonderful experiences in life and had a very good run at life.
