Matthew Kriara Peterson

When I think of Matt the first thing I remember was his big smile, his laugh, his humor, kindness, love for Blazers, Camp Angelos, his family, and his amazing love of life. Matt lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is joined now by his beautiful YiaYia Sophia in Heaven with his Papou Gus. May their Memoties Be Enternal and they Rest In Peace.

I was blessed to have Matt as one of my closest friends for over two decades. He never ceased to amaze and surprise me. He put his heart into everything he did, especially the work he did with children. He was a major part of my youth, my twenties, and my early thirties. There are way too many fond and crazy stories and adventures to count. Between razzing the security guards at camp, quizzing each other on gangster movies, telling the campers scary stories, and random trips back and forth...

I am so sorry we were unable to attend the service. I was in bed with the flu and Carson was out of town. Your precious son was special to Carson. Our prayers are with you. May our loving Lord hold you tightly. Matt was an amazing young man!

matt was a good dude. he always beat me in poker and would laugh the whole time doing it. he will be missed... our thoughts are with his family.

I have nothing but great memories of Matt growing up and the joy he brought to the lives of his friends, family and community is testament to the way he lived his life.
