To the Phillips Family- You don't know me, but I was lucky enough to support a veteran's charity and received a bracelet of a fallen soldier. I wanted to let you know that the name chosen for me was Matthew's. I am honored to to play a small part in his legacy and will wear his name with pride. From all that I have read, he was a great man and true hero. I am very sorry for your loss but know that he has a new friend that he's never met in me.
Best

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Phillips Family know that we just made a small donation to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in honor of Matthew B. Phillips US Army Corporal. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you...
