MATTHEW CHARLES PHILLIPS

Matt was a truly amazing person. He was full of kindness, joy, intelligence, and a great sense of humor. When I think about the short time that I knew him from my student teaching at ATEMS, most of all I remember his cheerfulness and laughter. He was a friend and a blessing to everyone around him, and I am thankful to have known him. I have been thinking of and praying for your family these past few weeks, and will continue to do so.

Matt was an inspiration to all of us. He will be missed.

I have such fond memories of Matthew sitting at my piano! He always had so much to tell me. I have thought of all of you so many times since you left Stillwater. Thinking of you especially now at this very difficult time.

Humankind became a little dummer and duller this week after Matt's exit from our midst, but Heaven picked one superb lead drummer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Phillips family.
