Send Flowers

We lost our amazing Matthew on the morning of February 8th. We are all so sad, but we're incredibly appreciative of all of the kind, generous, sweet people that Matt had in his life. Matt was an incredible son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin, uncle, and friend that we'll miss so very much. A "Casual Friday" memorial service will be held Friday, February 14 at 11:30 AM at Apex Funeral Home followed by a celebration of Matt's life immediately following at the same location in the Catering Room. If you prefer to watch some of Matt's favorite videos in the Catering Room during the service, you are welcome to do that! Special Requests: (No exceptions allowed) - Matt would have never worn a suit and he wouldn't want you to have to wear one either. This service is a come as you are memorial. - If you think someone might be too loud or disruptive to bring along with you, they are not. - Please join us after the service to have some pizza and some other of Matt's favorite foods. Please bring your fondest memories and funniest stories with you! - In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Matt be made to Autism Society of North Carolina. Please designate that the gift should go to Creative Living @ https://www.autismsociety-nc.org/donate-online/

I am so saddened to hear of Matt's passing. I just returned from the Holy Land and was able to pray there for him and all of you. Leah misses him as I am sure all of the CL family does. He was a fine fellow and dear soul. God bless all of you. I am so sorry. Jennifer Walken

Matt was my first introduction to CL...They needed some help, and I was asked to bring Matt to the mall which was one of his favorite pastimes...This was back when Bare Minerals had large TV screens, and played the infomercial on loop :) ...Matt turned my radio to Sports Radio, rolled down all the windows (Thank goodness it was spring time, although I don't think it would have mattered), and assisted me with the use of my turn signal...From that one afternoon with Matt, I was hooked, and...
