Steffanie and I made short speeches. We had a awesome turn out with people from so many devisions from the City of Paso Robles. Carvers from the north and south, CCG, and CCWC.

Very shocked to hear of Matt's passing. Was just randomly inputting names from my past into Google and he came up in the Paso Robles obituaries. We met in 1977 working at Jack in the box and became quick friends. We grew apart after time and I had not seen him in many years but we were good friends and roommates in our late teens/early 20's. I was also best man at his wedding to Cindy. My condolences go out to Cindy and family.

I will miss Matt forever, he was my big brother ( one of 5) and more than that he was a Friend. He introduced me to Billy Joel, to Tolkien, to Eddings, and to adventure. My trips to visit him in California were and are some of my happiest vacations, from Paso RObles State Fair, to DIsney Land to Yosemite and always to Morro Bay. Thank you Matt for you love support friendship and for calling me kid. You were so generous to me and to strangers, your love knew no bounds. He was so generous to...
