Matthew Potts

Please accept my condolences to the entire Potts family. I knew Matt when he was a young boy. Back in the day our dads were old friends and we would go out to visit the "Potts" at their hog farm. Matt was very special, and he gave me the impression he would grow up to do big things and become a successful business man. I think he was about 8-10 yrs old, and he was so polite, had a big smile, and made such an impression. So glad to see he was able to enjoy all the things life had to offer....

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Lisa, and your children, at this time of great grief. I´m the Eucharistic Minister at the hospital who saw Matt twice and shared the Eucharist with him. In those two encounters, I sensed a strong faith and desire to receive the Body of Christ, and a courage to continue on with his battle with cancer. From what I read about his character, Matt was a caring, loving husband, father, son, sibling and he will be missed by so many. I pray for peace and...
