Not sure what to say?

My family and I gain comfort from the memories and comments from all who remember Matt at this time. He will always be in our hearts and we are thankful that so many people met and knew him, if only for a short time.

In loving memory of a dear grandson who left us too soon. You are always in our hearts, remembered by many friends, neighbors & workmates who speak softly of good times with you and wish you could be with us.❤❤❤

Many thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts and memories of Matt with his family. Though time passes and grief and sorrow for our loss become more bearable, they cannot erase the memories made for all of us, and you. Believe me when I say that there was never a dull moment at family gatherings when Michael, Mitch and Matt were all there. ♥ always, Granni K

Your Grandmother& Grandfather thank about you every day, we will never forget you. I remember when you were very young you were kind of hesitant to give us a hug but as you got older you never left this house with out that hug. We look forward to the day we will see each other again, love you Pop.

To the Pratt family, I am sorry for your lose. I've known Matt for about a semester at Richmond Tech Automotive class. Like many other guys in the class we became a family. Matt was our big brother and now we will never be the close family of RTC.
R.I.P. Matt "big bro" Pratt

Matt and I worked together for a while in 2008, one of the nicest guys you could ever want to know. I was very sad to learn of his premature departure, and would like to send my condolences to his family. My prayers are with you and I hope the happy memories stay with you until you see him again.

Oscar and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

To the Pratt Family,
Thank you for selflessly lending your son to us in Battery H 3/14. I gained life-lasting lessons and wisdom from your Cpl. Pratt. His generosity and humor continually changed my outlook on life.
He's the reason I have my Humvee license. He gave me his own field chair when I had no where to sit. He convinced me to buy a machete after he used his to show me how to chop through thorn bushes and dig fighting holes for concealment. He even taught me how to call in...
