Matthew Riley, 39 of Wausau, passed from this life on June 1, 2015 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
Matt was born on April 21, 1976 in Dothan, Alabama to Earl Riley and Margaret Pettis. He was a lifelong resident of Wausau and a Vernon High School graduate. He loved hunting, fishing and his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tonya Day.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Locke and husband Walter of Wausau, FL; father, Earl Riley of Wausau, FL; son, Jake Riley of Wausau, FL; brother, Quinton Riley and wife Rena of Vernon, FL; three step-brothers, Denny Locke and wife Christy of Oregon, Wayne Locke and wife Andrea of Wausau, FL, David Riley and wife Tamara of Wausau, FL; step-sister, Cindy Harrison and husband Duran of Ebro, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at Wausau Assembly of God in Wausau with Rev. Ronnie Gene Hagan officiating. Interment will follow in Leigh Cemetery in Wausau with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
The family will receive friends from 9:30a.m.-11a.m. Friday, at the Wausau Assembly of God church.
