Read MoreMy sincere condolences to the family. My parents were close with Matt and Jean for many years. As a young teen, Matt introduced me to road cycling with the Sound Cyclists Club. For a few years, until I went off to college, we went on quite a few rides together, and he always encouraged me to try 100% and pursue my dreams. Matt was an amazing person, full of smiles and good cheer. I will certainly miss him. God Speed Matt.

Matthew was the finest man I've ever known. He was a wonderful, loving uncle. He made me strive to be the best I could be in all areas of life, and he often spoke about the importance of setting goals. Matt was always the life of the party with his lovely singing voice and fun sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by everyone in the family.
