Frannie (now Matt) was a close boyhood friend and truly a great guy. We grew up in the Glover Park area of DC. From age 4 to 19 (then military service) we had many great adventures. He was a successful business man in the DC area and you could visit him at his business where he always welcomed you with a big smile. My wife and I enjoyed seeing him at St. John's High School 50th reunion and again about 5 years ago. My deepest sympathy to John, Mary Ann, Catherine and Jimmy and all of...

Frannie and I were friends for many years. He was a good man and will be missed. We will have Mass said in his memory.

Matt (we called him Frannie in the old days) was best friend to my husband, George. He married my best friend and roommate, Bobbi Jean, and was the Godfather to my two oldest children, Elena and George Philip Albamonte. We spent many fun evenings together, including the evening I went into labor with my first child. They took me to the hospital the next morning and were there when my daughter, Elena, was born. He was a good , honest, and honorable man. I saw him less often after Bobbi's...
