On Friday, January 26th, Matthew Edward Sawyer passed away leaving his beloved parents Linda (nee Gennaro) and Edward, his dear twin sister Nicole, his Grandmother, Sunny Gennaro, many aunts, uncles & cousins, and the great love of his life, Alannah Potter. He is predeceased by his grandfather Jimmy Gennaro, and his paternal grandparents Catherine and Edward Sawyer. He was so deeply loved by his aunts, uncles, cousins – and countless wonderful and loving friends....

I knew Matt for a few years. He made an impression on me cause he was so easy to get to know and get along with. From the moment I meet him he mad it a point to hang with me. He became a good friend and his memory will never die.
