To the family and friends of Lance Cpl. Matthew Serio:
It has truly been my honor to sign Matthew's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Matthew will always be remembered in my home.

To the family of Lance Cpl. Matthew Serio:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

To the family and friends of LCpl Serio;

He and I were in platoon 3104 in bootcamp, his rack was right next to mine. He was always a great friend when things got tough and made sure that we always smiled when things felt horrible. We had many long nights sitting up talking when we should have been sleeping. I just recently learned of his death and wanted to send my condolences. He was a great friend, and definitely touched my life he will always have a special place in my heart....

Forever Remembered an American Hero.
