Matt was one of my best friends. Ever since the day I met him in 2nd grade he had the best sense of humor out of anyone that I had ever known. No matter what what going on in life, whenever you were around Matt, things seemed okay. Matt, I will miss you more than I can explain. Some day I will see you again and we can go back and forth telling jokes as we always did. I love you brother.

What a shocking loss. Matt was a great guy. I worked with him at the tribune as a driver for over two years. He was always so happy and a joy to be around. I hadn't seen him in years. I'll always remember some great times at the tribune with Matt.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

Matt, you are one of my oldest and truest friends. I had every class in high school with you. You were there during the years which formed the man I am today. You will be missed.
