Not sure what to say?

I never knew Bo directly. Steve Weir was a good friend of mine from 11th grade through college. Heard many stories from Steve. Sadly it never occurred to me to Google Bo after Steven died. I was always remember "Gifts from the Gods" when hurling trash from a moving car.

My dear friend Uncle Matt,

That's the name you used when we first met in London almost 30 years ago, so I never switched to 'Bo'.

When I found myself in LA 5 years later, you did what you do best. In your warm, genial way, you took me under your wing. Cruising around in your powder blue Cadillac, we talked about the world, we dissected your ideas and we laughed. You introduced me to Ships, you introduced me to your Mom, your Dad and your fascinating Grandma, and you introduced...

Bo:

Love you. It was a blessing to reconnect with you on a deeper level -even if it was just for a short time. May your hard work and your passion for things and ideas continue in the heavenly realm. I'm sure the Lord has exciting assignments lined up for you.

You will be sorely, sorely missed. Hug.

Linda

Ecclesiastes 3:11

I'll always remember Bo as a very kind person. He was always happy to see me and took an interest in what was going on in my life. A ready smile and a fine person.
I know he is with God and resting comfortably. Bless you Bo.

Bo, you were my last good friend from LA. I only knew your family from our talks. We didn't really get to be friends until you left Culver City SHIPS, but we commiserated about the state of our Union every couple of weeks. I am saddened by your passing and offer my condolences to your entire family. Good bye my friend....

So saddened.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Bo as always being so upbeat and full of energy. He really was a pleasure to work with back in the day of Ships Restaurants. He had reached out to me a few years back and I'm sorry we didn't have a chance to meet up if only for a few minutes. God bless you all in this time of sorrow.

To Mrs Shipman, Steve, Mark and family... my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. So many wonderful memories growing up with your family at St Martins.
Love from Melissa Norman
