I was shocked and deeply saddened to read about Matt's passing. He was a really fine person and one of the few truly visionaries I ever knew. Matt was the reason I came to Houston - to work with him and L.E. in 1974. Although that plan fell through it was the catalyst for me to emigrate from Scotland to Houston, for which I am eternally grateful.
My sincerest sympathy to Ellen and family.
