Matt was one of my soldiers that stood above the crop of good leaders that worked for me. I think about him almost daily and I am still trying to deal with the loss. I pray for Sarah their young child and the rest of the family. I will miss him and will never forget the impact he made on my life while we were deployed together.

Sarah I don't know you personally but my daughter Mallory Diamond (and my second daughter Kristana Lockhart Beko just got back from Afganistan for her second tour of duty) went to RVH and I know of you. I just want to say your Husband is a true hero and will NEVER be forgotten. Hold your head high and keep those precious memories close to your heart to share with yours/his son....so sorry you have to bear this at such a young age. RIP SSG Matthew S. Sitton
