Not sure what to say?

Lucy ~
Mickey has been in my prayers for a long time as he stuggled with the ups and downs of Lymphoma. To hear of his passing was a shock and my heart goes out to you and the boys. I hope you are able to find some comfort knowing that so many friends and family care and will be there for you in this difficult time.
Looking back on our poker games with Mickey, John and Michael were just the best - such good times, such good memories.
Love to you,
Lou Ann Isler

Lucy, I am blessed to have been a part of your family in the early days of WEHO. I am deeply saddened by the news. You and the boys are in my prayers and thoughts.

Lucy, You may not remember me but I was the front office secretary at the Irvine, CA Schindler Elevator Office. I always loved seeing and working and visiting with Mickey and his long dear friend, Dennis Cooney who we dearly miss also from his early passing. I have wondered how you all were doing over the years as I lost touch with all lot of my favorites. I did call Mickey years ago right after you moved there as I have a sister in the Seattle area but due to the timing we weren't able to...

Lucy, Harrison, and Matthew

I had the honor and privilege to get to know and grow close to Mickey in a short amount of time. As a direct employee of his for 3 years, we talked and interacted daily and saw each other often. I grew to love and respect him both professionally and personally. I, like so many others, had my life enriched because I could call him my co-worker, and more importantly, my friend. And although his impact on my professional life is significant, it is our...

Dear Lucy,
Jim and I are so very deeply sorry to hear of the passing of Mickey. He was such an inspiration and tremendous presence in the many AA meetings we shared with him over the years. He had wisdom, compassion, humor and strength of character. He made any meeting he was in so much better. We feel lucky to have known and loved Mickey along with countless other members of AA. We are trying to rearrange our Saturday to be able to attend the Memorial but if not possible know that we...

I had a great deal of respect for Mickey as our leader and great motivator, he hired me at Toshiba and I am thankful for the great opportunity he presented to me.
I knew how important his family was to him!

For years I sat next to Mickey many, many times at the Better Odds Sober meetings. One day I broke my arm and was in a great deal of pain, and didn't know what to do so I went to a meeting. He had such empathy and kindness that it immediately made me feel better. It wasn't so much what he said as his actions.

What a fine man. I will miss him.

I was so sad to hear of Mickey's passing. He was a very important mentor in my life as a sales person.

He treated me like a younger brother and gave me such great advice. We shared a ton of laughs working together and I will miss his perspective and warm smile.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I know that he touched so many peoples lives.

Warmest condolences,
