I was devastated to learn about Matt, I spent this morning recalling my memories of him and reading the entries from the guest book. They all share one thing in common the people that knew Matt all remember his warm smile and his great personality. we could all be so lucky to be remembered this way. This is truly a great loss to the family and to everyone that came to know Matt. My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. It sounds like he was a pretty amazing person-just like you. I will be praying for you and your family. I know that God will carry you through this. You are all such precious people and my thoughts are with you during this sad and difficult time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

I WILL NEVER FORGET ALL THE GOOD TIMES WE SHARED AT CHRISTMAS AND HOW MUCH HE LOVED MY BOYS. We are so glad we were able to see you both Sunday night. We will hold that memory in our hearts forever. We know how deep you are hurting as we are hurting with you. To the family of Matt,I had the pleasure of calling him my friend.We had some good times in Scottsboro and later in Athens.Even though I have moved away and lost contact,I still call him a dear friend and was saddened to hear of this.I will not forget his smile and great sense of humor.I pray that God will be with you all and comfort you in this time of loss.He was a good man and a great friend.
