Jenny,Tell your family I wish them the best and my thoughts are with them.

Linda, Jerry, Jenny and Angie. Just another note to let all of you know how deeply sorry Dennis and I are. I (Sandy) love you all very very much.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

To the family,
I was devastated to learn about Matt, I spent this morning recalling my memories of him and reading the entries from the guest book. They all share one thing in common the people that knew Matt all remember his warm smile and his great personality. we could all be so lucky to be remembered this way. This is truly a great loss to the family and to everyone that came to know Matt. My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Dear Angie,
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. It sounds like he was a pretty amazing person-just like you. I will be praying for you and your family. I know that God will carry you through this. You are all such precious people and my thoughts are with you during this sad and difficult time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Jerry,
We are so sorry to hear about Matt. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Lord be with you during this terrible time. We love you.

JERRY,
OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME OF NEED. WE WERE ALL SO LUCKY TO BE TOUCHED BY SUCH A WONDERFUL SOUL SUCH AS MATT. HE WAS A BLESSING AND SUCH A WONDERFUL MAN. I WILL NEVER FORGET ALL THE GOOD TIMES WE SHARED AT CHRISTMAS AND HOW MUCH HE LOVED MY BOYS. THE BOYS LOOKED FORWARD TO CHRISTMAS IN DECATUR BECAUSE THEY KNEW MATT WOULD BE THERE TO ROUGH HOUSE WITH THEM. HE WILL BE MISSED. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
ANDI, KEVIN, LOGAN, EVAN, AND MORGAN

Christy,
Chris and I are both so glad to have the chance to get to know you over the past few months. We always looked forward to meeting you and Matt for dinner. We are so glad we were able to see you both Sunday night. We will hold that memory in our hearts forever. We know how deep you are hurting as we are hurting with you. Matt was like a brother to Chris and helped him so much with the passing of his dad. If you ever need us, please call us. We are here for you whenever you need...

To the family of Matt,I had the pleasure of calling him my friend. We had some good times in Scottsboro and later in Athens.Even though I have moved away and lost contact,I still call him a dear friend and was saddened to hear of this.I will not forget his smile and great sense of humor.I pray that God will be with you all and comfort you in this time of loss.He was a good man and a great friend.
