I always looked forward to seeing Matt. He always had something nice to say and had a smile on his face. You could always tell that he loved God and he cared for people. I will miss seeing him!

I was in shock when I heard the news, still am. I wasn't around much but I know from everyone around him that he was an amazing, husband, father, grandpa, friend uncle. He touched so many, even my dad. I wasn't able to be around Bro. Matt as much as I wanted, but he was always a joy whenever I was. I could tell he truly had a heart for ministry and a love for people! He will truly be missed.
