Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear the news of Matt. Matt and I went to School together he will be missed. He always seemed so full of life. Peace Tom Jung

Loren and Sharon,

So sorry to hear about the passing of your son. I can still remember when you had the podiatric residents from Waldo over to your house for a party about 27 years ago (1980). Matt was 13 years old at the time and we were all playing ball in your front yard and I remember him saying how his feet were hurting. Of course we all began to look at his lower extremity alignment and mechanics and made many treatment recommenations. I was glad to see he went on to play high...

Matt was the gold standard of positive thinking, nice, reasonable and all around good guy! I will miss him tremendously. Dr. Salerno, Dr. Fishbein, myself and all the other physicians and nurses at UW who were fortunate to know Matt send our thoughts to Julie, Jake, Megan, Loren, Sharon & Suzanne at this very difficult time. Farewell Matthew, Shauna

We just heard of Matt's passing, we are so sad to hear of it. My family knew Matt in his high school years at Shorewood. He was a great role model for my older brother Jeff and was always my protector as I was always getting picked on by the my brothers' friends - Matt came to the rescue. Most of the time I deserved it, but he was looking out for me anyway. My family respected Matt for his integrity and enjoyed those high school years with him.
Our love and prayers go with him and stay...

Having not known Matthew, and knowing the character of his parents Loren and Sharon, I can only think how fortunate we are to have indivduals like him choose a career in law enforcement. Our family sends our heart-felt thoughs, prayers and concerns to Loren and Sharon, and Matthew's family for your sudden loss, and my we provide the strength and support to move forward with the values his life reflected.

Although we saw Matt only briefly we shared these last few years with Loren and Sharon through conversations (mainly before 7 am since we of the south sound travel early), stories, pictures, and even Loren's video camera. What a brave, honest, hard working, caring son, father and husband. We have been touched by the love and strength of the Stone family.

Your friends at Stevens Foot and Ankle are thinking of all of you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My sympathy to the entire family! My name is Stacey Stanford, and I went to school with Matt. I had a nice conversation with him at our 20yr. reunion, and he exuded enthusiasm and love while talking about his career and family! I hope the wonderful memories help to comfort you at this time. My thoughts are with you, Stacey Stanford
