Not sure what to say?

Miss you, Matt.

The 20th anniversary since you left us... hard to believe. We speak of you often and remind your niece, Anabelle and nephew, Wyatt about the fun things you would say and do. This year, we are showing the video you and your friends created at The Masters School. We just had it converted from VHS format. It is interesting in that you are killed by a teacher in it!!! The hole in my heart remains but my love for you never dies. Mom

Sicily trip 2003

This photo was taken in Sicily in January 2003; Matthew was a senior in high school and Emily was a senior in college. On February 4, 2004, Matthew died at college. This year is the 20th anniversary of his death and now he has been gone longer than we had him with us. It is hard to believe he has been gone this long. Emily is engaged to be married this Fall to Zack Kolstein and I so wish Matthew were here to meet him and be part of this new joy in our family.

Wishing I had some videos from our childhood to look back upon but sadly we didn't have cell phones back then... Still miss and love you Matthew. Our great memories we shared as children growing up will never fade

Miss you Matt.

Miss you Matt!!! I’ll always remember you brother!

My dear Matthew has now been gone longer than I had him with me. Nineteen years is a long time and yet I vividly remember so many wonderful, funny and poignant moments. Each year on February 4, we toast to his memory and the hole in my heart never goes away. Mom

My heart goes out to the Stuen family on the anniversary of Matthew’s passing which I will never forget as it was on the same day of my father, Matthew Ruggero’s birth.

Another year gone by wishing you were still here friend
