Not sure what to say?

Kerilynne, Haiden, Claire, Michael and extended family. My deepest sympathies to all of you. I, too, am so sorry that we weren't aware of your tragic lose. It has been a long while since we last saw you all at Janie's funeral, yet in some ways, it feels like yesterday. I pray you each find peace and comfort as time helps to ease some of the pain and anguish. God bless you all. (Aunt) Jeannette (Jacquie and Joanne's sister)

Dear Family,
I dont know if you remember me, My name is Joanne, Janie was my stepsister. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My sister sent me the notice she found on the internet. You are in our prayers.
Joanne.

Clare and Michael...Jacquie (Aunt Jacquie to you Michael)...I've not seen you since Janie's death and had no idea about Matthew until just now when I found this on the web. I sit here crying for the loss of such a wonderful man (a boy the last time I'd really been around) and how late I heard....I am so sorry you guys...I find peace that he is with Janie....you are in my thoughts and prayers....love for you guys and would love to hear from you sometime...love, Aunt Jacquie

It's been a year now and not a day goes by that I don't stop to think of you (KL and Haiden) and my dear Matt.
We had a great time helping you get settled in at your new home in New Jersey. Matt is very proud of you and especially of Haiden as she grows and becomes a beautiful little lady. Her beautiful eyes help us to know that Matt will always be with us. We can't wait to get back out there to see each of you.

Love,
Mike

Matt with Amy, Ivelisse, Will, Bro (?) and Sarah - Santiago 1997

Matt in Santiago 1997 - 6 hour horseback ride!

Kerilynne and Haiden - We met Matt during his time in Santiago, Chile in the 90's as a US Embassy Marine Guard. We have so many happy memories of that time. One night we stayed up all night with Matt and some other girlfriends making lasagna for a Hash run that we were to host. Another time, we spent 6 hours on horses in the mountains - ouch! Matt had an infectious spirit and a big smile. I know that he will live on forever, especially in his precious daughter, Haiden. We will search...

The Sweeney Family: From the Franzel family; we will all remember Matt with smiles and laughter. He's a beautiful soul and we are all blessed that he and his family touched so many of us.
I grew up with Matt and His family in Ubly. Matt is a former classmate of mine (since the 5-6th grade) and a dear friend of my family and I. Matt was like a brother to me(Kind of ironic since I have 10 brothers)and did many things with us as well as his brother , Mike. For a few years they lived 2-3...

We missed Matt very much at his 15 year high school class reunion last weekend. We are grateful to those from the Sweeney family who attended and shared stories and comfort. I know he was looking forward to coming. He was able to help us find some classmates because he still kept in touch with so many of us. Once a friend, always a friend.
