To all of the Thomas family,
We still cant believe he is gone. At least he is in heaven and we will be together again someday. We have many great memories of Matthew. He was a great friend. Matthew always talked about family and how much he loved everyone. Kristen and Katie were his pride and joy. We could go on and on about the good times because there were many. Please accept our thoughts and prayers. We already miss him and think of him daily.

To my buddy … I’ve known Matthew since 2006 - when I first moved to Tennessee. We became very close friends over these passing years. We both endured a lot recently, due to our professions being in the construction industry. Matthew was not only my best friend here in Knoxville, but he was also my mentor in the construction field. We seemed to complement each...

I was very fond of Matthew and know how much he loved his children. We have lost a very special person.

"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 May the Lord Jesus carry your burdens and bring the rest that you need at this time. Praying for you all daily.

Lue, James, Chris and Lisa,
I can't begin to tell you how sorry and sad I was to hear of Matthew's passing. I have so many memeories of all of us growing up and the great fun we had. When I think of Matthew I immediately remember that funny little giggle he had. That giggle usually got us all into trouble when we were about to do something we weren't suppose to. I did not have the priviledge to know the man that Matthew came to be, but I am honored to have known the little boy he...

Matt is a forever memory of mine. As I think back on high school, many memories include him. From the first day of school when I met him in the boys' bathroom where I had mistaken gone, to the football field where we threw our hats and celebrated our high school graduation. Keep your memories close. My prayers are with you and your family.
