TOWERS, MATTHEW "MATTY" Of Grand Blanc, age 33, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020. Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Dwight Rottiers officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for his daughter, Layla's education fund. Visitation 3-7pm Wednesday and 10am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Matthew was born in Flushing on July 10, 1986, the son of Donald and Diane (Bolden) Towers. He loved spending time with his daughter and enjoyed playing his guitar. Surviving are daughter, Layla; Parents, Donald and Diane Towers; Sister, Andrea and husband Brad Bondy; Grandmother, Juanita Bolden; Nephews, Jaxon and Jayce; And many aunts, uncles and cousins. Greg and Diane I am so very sorry for the loss of your son Matthew. Don't know if you remember us or not. Bud and I attended church with you at first free will baptist church on Fenton rd. Rev Rudy shankle was our pastor. I remember your beautiful voice when you sang there. Bud passed away July 8 th 2019. So sorry for our losses.
