Mr. and Mrs. Trezza,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just heard about Matt's death, and I want extend my sincere condolences. I was Matt's English 102 teacher at Essex County College. He was truly a joy to have in the class; bright, enthusiastic, creative, and innovative. He worked hard both in- and outside the classroom, and he was certainly one of my favorite students, so much so that we kept in touch after he finished the course. He will truly be missed.
