First off let me start by saying you two are wonderful parents & dont deserve to go through any of this, mother nature taking its course or not.My deepest simpithy is yours.I'd also like to share a few memories of mine & Matthews with you.
I first met Matt through a girl whom's family you are very close with, Shelby. A member of the Brownawell family. Shelby & I were in 5th grade at the time of Matthew and I's meeting. It was at our field day. Shelby had...

My prayers and deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I knew Matt from high school and also attended Lock Haven University with him. I will truly miss seeing his smiling face on campus. God Bless.

We are still in shock, we just heard about Matt a few hours ago. We first met him as a senior, who rode the bus I drove. He was always a polite and well mannered gentlemen, with a warm smile. He seemed more mature than his young age. Then to our surprise we also had the fortune to know Matt as our friendly lifeguard down at the Florida keys. He was always so kind to my boys. We just saw him Friday, when he stopped by the pool to say hi. We will all miss his smiling face. The world has lost a...

I was completely shocked when I heard about Matt. Him and I knew each other since the fourth grade. I think we were on every single baseball team together since we were 10. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. They are absolutely great people. I can only imagine what this is like. You will always be remembered VP.

Van Pelt's..Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of great sorrow. May you all find the strength to persevere through this very difficult time.

Time is not so far any better. I do keep a journal to get the feelings out and I suggest the same for you. My every thought goes into that and for a while the brain does not think. Take comfort from the many friends who will surround you in these next few days and live for one day at a time. Some day we will...

Matt you were a great friend and an awesome little brother. I'm going to miss you buddy and we'll meet again together someday. I send my condolences to the Van Pelt family. The KDR's at Lock Haven will never forget you little.
