Rev. Matthew S. Wieczorek

I just read this and thought of Fr. Matt so many times. He was there when I lost both parents and he officiated for both. I am reminded of his many pooches he had along the way, sitting so quietly near the Altar, prior to mass while he said his rosary so vigilantly. He was the only priest who stressed the Divine Mercy novena which I have so loved. Without him and his persistence, I would not feel blessed nor saved. What a wonderful holy man he was. I was saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin. Fr Matt. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend his funeral Mass due to other commitments. Fr Matt baptized my oldest daughter, Melissa Rose (Welenc) Eaton. I also remember attending his Jubilee Mass in 2007.

Fr. Matt is an unforgettable man, my religion teacher at Seton. He was also so helpful as a confessor. He is missed.
