Matthew James Wiersema

Matthew James Wiersema, 85, of Schaumburg. Beloved husband of Lois, nee Kupsky; loving father of Richard (Susan) Wiersema and Lois Jean (William) Blinn; cherished grandfather of Elizabeth Anne and Brian Douglass Wiersema and Kristen Kelly and Matthew William Blinn; fond brother of Lillian (Malcolm) Fisher and Glenrose (Everett) Fischer; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star during WW II. Visitation Saturday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 208 E.
