Not sure what to say?

Linda,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. The thing that comforted me the most when we lost our best friend suddenly was knowing that God weeps too. I pray He will hold you as you weep. We are praying for your family and friends.

Sean & Liz (Birthing class, Spring '05)

Matt was a good friend of mine back in our high school years. "Fluffy" always had a great sense of humor and could continuously be counted on as a good friend. I wish I could have kept in contact with him more after Berkner...he will be missed.

Dear Linda,
Your extended Doula Sisterhood is mourning with you and lifting you and the girls up in our prayers. Linda, there are no words that could adequately comfort you -- this unspeakable grief confounds. Your strength will shine through with Matt's heavenly touch on all of you. I am so very sorry for your loss. God Bless you.

Erin (Doula class of May, 2003)

Matthew, we had so many late night phone conversations about philosophy, psychology, and the overall scheme of things that we should be starring in our own series of PBS specials.

We'll never forget you.

Our heartfelt condolences to all of Matt's family and friends.

Once upon a time, this crazy, wild-haired boy came up to me in the band hall at RJHS and started asking me all kinds of weird questions...I had never met anyone like him before. This was the start of a friendship that would completely change my life.
He brought so many people together that may have never met if it were not for him.
He may not be here physically - but Matt will always remain in my now broken heart, as he always has.
I love you, Matt. I will miss you more than...

Matt was supposed to play my husband in The Music Man my senior year of high school. His economics class left me a widow. I'll always remember him for his crazy hair and the two of us standing out in the snow for an hour trying to catch snowflakes on our tongues, talking about everything, yet nothing at all. Matt will always have a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences to his family.

Matt was an unforgettable, unique soul and his loss leaves a void in the universe. He was a good friend and I pray that time will help his family heal from this unexpected loss. I will cherish his memory forever and hold a special place for him in my heart and mind.

Matt will be missed. Our prayers are with the family and all who grieve this sudden loss. May our sorrow be lessened over time as we remember the joys he brought into this world.

He will be missed
