Not sure what to say?

Brother Matthias was first of all a great teacher -a noble calling, a leader, but also a friend. I was lucky enough to have learned chemistry and physics from him at McGill and he made the difficult concepts and problems easy to understand and apply. I thank him for steering my path to the sciences. His deep interest in the sciences and thorough teaching methods made tackling advanced University level science courses a breeze. Thank you Brother Matt! You are missed but never forgotten.

Life is but a Stopping Place Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker, For some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord

Offering our sincere condolences during this time of deep sorrow. May God be with the family during this most difficult time.

Brother Matthias may you Rest In Peace. I wouldn´t have passed math without you.

Brother Matt was a great friend. Prayers of peace and strength for the family.

It was an honor to know Brother Matt. He was my principle in high school at Vanderbilt Catholic in Houma, LA. He was a man with a true servants heart and a man that loved his students. He stands out in my memories of one of my favorite teachers that reflected Jesus. It was later in life I learned we both settled in Mobile. I´ll always be thankful for your friendship.

I work with Brother Amos' sister, Sister Helen Amos, in Baltimore MD at Mercy Medical Center. Deepest sympathy to all the Amos family from her many friends and colleagues in Baltimore.
