I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Ms. Mattie Pearl's family. She was a great lady and an amazing and wonderful friend for over seven decades to my mother Ruth Helen Jones with whom she grew up in Mississippi. She will be missed, though we can take comfort in the knowledge that she has taken her place among the angels.
