How I remember this spiritual giant and her husband as a child growing up at Bethel Baptist Church. She was so attentive to the children at church. She could walk with kings but not loose her common touch. She along with my aunt- Pauline Puckett, my parents- the late Joseph and Allura Collier, our pastor and wife, the late Rev.George and Mrs. Irma Lucas, the late Martha Oatts and others were influential in my Christian and musical development.
