Mrs. Mattie Mae Richardson, a native of Monroe Country, AL and resident of Mobile, AL, born June 28, 1925, passed away May 7, 2013 at a local hospital.
She leaves to cherish a loving and devoted sister, Zelma Cunningham; six devoted daughters, Sallie Carter (Tony Tucker), Catherine (John) Everson, Eula, Druscilla, and Barbara Richardson, Betty (Brantley) Parsley; one devoted son, James Howard (Elizabeth) Richardson; to sisters-in-law, Irma Ree Cunningham and Rebecca Shannon; twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 11-5pm at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, continuing Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 9:00 until the 11:00am funeral hour at St. James Missionary Church, 2846 St. James Dr. 36607. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Garden.
