A remarkable woman, partner in a remarkable couple. We only met Maud in Buenos Aires in recent years at the presentation of one or her books at the Argentine National Library. She played a key role in trying to save lives during the Dirty War 1976-83, for which Bob's also courageous leadership of The Buenos Aires Herald has been documented.

Maud was my professor in a French and Spanish Literature in Translation class at the College of Charleston. It was one of my more memorable classes for which I still have a great appreciation. My condolences to the family and everyone who knew her.
