EVANS, Maud L., of Richmond, departed this life January 5, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Evans. Surviving are four children, Ramona, Vanessa and Daakeia Cargo and Alonzo Carter; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; parents, James and Ruth Carter; sister, Mildred Carter; brother, Ronald Carter; uncle, Junius Carter; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends on Friday, January 8, (today) from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, at 11 a.m. at Grayland Baptist Church, 2301 Third Avenue. Minister Gina Whitaker officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Online guest book at scottsfuneralhome.com.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

heavn in gods light, one of the few
chosen. Always love, love is God. mis-
sed physicly (body),but not in spirit
living. You walked the and talked the
