Not sure what to say?

John and Bud-On behalf of the Stringhams, I extend our deepest sympathies. What a grand life your mom led. She was our mom's very dear friend for years. We are grateful for the softly extended love and friendship she so generously shared.

To the entire Wiley family-
We are so sorry about your loss of a remarkable woman- mother, grandmother. Know that you all are in our thoughts.

Ifeel fortunate to have known Maude, who was a charming and warm friend. She welcomed us as new members of All Saints Episcopal Church, and she made us feel immediately at home. In the years that followed, we worked together on several volunteer committeees, and shared fun and laughter, during our Slim, Gym and Trim classes at the "Y", while we were struggling to remove some extra pounds!
Once befriended by Maude, she became an unforgettable person in my life, and I treasure the memories...

John and Family, very sorry to ready about your Mothers passing. It looks like she lived a long and full life. May the memories you have of her and your faith in God comfort you and your family as your mourn her passing.

Very sorry for your loss Bud--you and family are in our prayers.

As grade schoolers at Edison elementary during the 50s, Bud Wiley and another classmate got into debates about whose mom had the better southern accent. Living in North Carolina today in a crossroads region we listen to just about every kind. Remembering Maud's, it's hard to figure how Bud could have lost that argument.

Maud will be remembered for a long life, a gift to those who knew her.
