One thing I remember most about Aunt Maude is going to the Rogers Reunion the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We would head up Bus 40 with a bag of flowers, it was a must to visit all the cemetaries before the reunion. She would pull weeds, dust the marker and place the flowers in the vase. This was important to her, she felt it was the right thing to do..as she got older and couldn't go to the mtns we would talk on the phone for hrs, I would put her on speaker phone and get her to tell...
