Rev. Maudie May Long

I was sad to learn Sister Maudie had passed. Only because I was selfish and didn't want her leave here. But the Lord reminded me she was where she had always longed to be. She had lived her life and did God's will and it was time for her to receive her Heavenly rewards. I know she was greeted with open arms by her mother and father, Sister Rosie, Sister Ruby, Sister Bonnie, her brother Richard, and I cant forget her family in Christ, Sister Timmons, Brother Timmons, Brother Gene and Sister...

So saddened when I seen the obituary just now and seen that we have lost someone that meant so much to so many. I know that she is up there rejoicing with the Lord and I am sure that my brother was watching for her. As we both loved her so much and she did so much in the lives of so many. Thank you Maudie for saving me from the sins of the world and touching me when I was a young lady and knowing that I was good enough to save. I love you and always will be so thankful for all that you did...

I've know Maude my whole life. She performed my husband and I wedding ceremony.Love you Maude
